Terms for using GradeNeeded as an educational planning resource with calculators, accounts, and planner cloud-save features.
Educational planning only
GradeNeeded provides educational planning tools and estimates for grades, GPA, weighted grades, passing calculations, assignments, deadlines, credits, study planning, and academic organization. It does not provide official academic advice, official grades, or school-approved academic records.
Not official records
Results and saved planner information from GradeNeeded are not official school records and are not a substitute for your instructor, syllabus, learning management system, advisor, school, or official gradebook. Always confirm important information with official course materials and school systems.
Account responsibility
If you create an account, you are responsible for using your account appropriately, keeping your sign-in method secure, and making sure information entered into GradeNeeded is accurate. Do not share account access with others or use another person's account without permission.
Cloud data storage
For signed-in users, GradeNeeded stores planner, study, and profile data in Supabase. You are responsible for verifying that your data appears correctly. GradeNeeded aims to keep cloud data reliable but does not guarantee permanent data availability.
Subscriptions and billing
GradeNeeded offers Premium and Ultra subscription plans billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law. If a payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the free tier. GradeNeeded reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. No guarantee of uptime or data availability
GradeNeeded aims to provide useful and reliable tools, but the site, accounts, cloud save, Study Helper, analytics, forms, and other features may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, changed, or removed. GradeNeeded does not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or recovery of planner data.
Use responsibly
You are responsible for checking the numbers, assignments, due dates, statuses, notes, and grades you enter and confirming grading policies for your course. GradeNeeded cannot guarantee a grade outcome, passing outcome, deadline result, academic decision, reminder result, or study outcome.
Sensitive information
Do not enter highly sensitive personal information, passwords, private school portal information, student ID numbers, official academic records, medical information, financial information, or confidential information into planner notes, Study Helper, forms, or messages. GradeNeeded is meant for ordinary schoolwork planning.
AI features and academic integrity
GradeNeeded's Geno AI assistant is designed to help students learn, plan, and understand material. By using Geno, you agree not to use it to generate essays, lab reports, or assignments you will submit as your own work; obtain answers during a live exam, quiz, or proctored test; or misrepresent AI-generated content as original work. GradeNeeded implements safeguards against these uses but cannot guarantee detection of all misuse. Violations may result in account suspension. Geno is a study support tool, not a substitute for original academic work or your school's academic integrity policy.
Terms updates
These terms may be updated as GradeNeeded adds or changes features. Continued use of GradeNeeded after a terms update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
